Field Operations is currently seeking Landscape Designers.

Job Description:

Provide design and production support on all phases of a landscape architectural project.  Specifically,

- Conduct preliminary study and analysis of landscape architecture projects by gathering and analyzing information including economic and environmental studies;

- Conduct field investigation and site analysis to measure the factors affecting land use and cost, and prepare design proposals and scopes;

- Work as a team member on all phases of landscape design and project process, including master planning, conceptual design planning, schematic design, design development, construction documents and construction observation;

- Develop design perspective drawings, create graphic rendering, modeling and physical study models, diagrams, schedules and other computer generated or hand drawn documents, create plant palettes that align with clients needs, and design site maps;

- Perform site analyses that include the assessment of soil conditions, lighting, the view, and architecture style of the property for the purpose of bidding, scheduling and ordering goods for the job;

- Stay current on zoning or building codes, landscape specifications, environmental regulations, and other legal issues;

- Perform other job duties as assigned including assisting with preparation of bid documents/specifications, obtaining permit/jurisdictional approvals, responsible for design schedule and quality and completing inspection reports for project.

 

Requirements:

Master Degree in Landscape Architecture, plus 1-year working experience in landscape architecture or architecture related field.

- Must possess excellent design, visualization, creative and innovative land planning and (hand) graphic skills;

- 1-year working experience must include proficiently using AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Sketch-Up, and 3D Rhino, Vray, Grasshopper, GIS, and Lumion;

- Strong knowledge about how ecological conditions can affect a proposed design as well as knowledge about site inspection;

- Must be an excellent communicator with ability to articulate design intentions verbally and in writing;

- License is not required.
